Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred associate degree or higher.
• 1–3 years of work experience preferred.
• NJ Paramedic certification or reciprocity eligibility.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• ITLS or Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support preferred.
• CAPCE/UMBC/IBSC/FP-C certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides prehospital ALS to patients in designated EMS service areas.
• Demonstrates care for patients of all ages in ALS and Critical Care settings.
• Assesses patient status and identifies age-specific needs.
• Adheres to DOT National Standard Curriculum, AHA guidelines, and NJ DOH EMS policies.
• Maintains safety, cleanliness and efficient time management in the field.
