Responsibilities

• Provide advanced life support (ALS) care in prehospital and transport settings.
• Assess, monitor, and treat patients in emergency situations using appropriate clinical judgment.
• Administer medications, manage airways, initiate IV/IO access, and perform ECG interpretation.
• Safely transport patients while maintaining continuous monitoring and documentation of care.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, medical control, receiving facilities, and team members.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and ambulance readiness at all times.
• Participate in ongoing training, quality improvement, and continuing education activities.
