Job summary

Coastal Medical Transportation Systems in Sturbridge, MA is seeking an ALS EMT to deliver safe, basic life support by responding to ambulance transports between healthcare facilities and other locations, and by providing emergency medical services as needed.

The role requires MA EMT certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift and move patients under guidelines. Work includes coordinating with CMTS leadership and may involve night or weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• EMT certification in MA, OEMS in good standing.
• Minimum 6 months of PB and/or 911 experience.
• Current motor vehicle operator's license.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Satisfactory CORI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic life support ambulance care under supervision.
• Respond to ambulance transport requests between facilities and other locations.
• Respond to emergency medical services requests.
