Job summary

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence Canada is seeking an ALPHACAM Technical Specialist to support adoption across Canada by acting as a trusted technical advisor to manufacturers, partners, and internal teams. You will translate complex manufacturing workflows into effective ALPHACAM solutions and contribute to pre-sales discovery, demonstrations, and solution design.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience with CAM software and CNC machining processes.
  • Background in wood, metal, or stone manufacturing industries.
  • Confident communicator with experience in client-facing roles (sales support, demos, consulting, etc.).
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely with a high degree of autonomy.

Position Overview

We’re looking for an ALPHACAM Technical Specialist to support and grow ALPHACAM adoption across Canada by acting as a trusted technical advisor to manufacturers, partners, and internal teams. Success in this position comes from your ability to understand complex manufacturing workflows, translate technical needs into effective solutions, and demonstrate how ALPHACAM solves real production challenges. You’ll support sales conversations through expertise, helping clients make confident, informed decisions. You’ll play a key role in pre-sales technical discovery, software demonstrations, solution design, and ongoing enablement, while collaborating closely with sales, marketing, and support teams.


Job Responsibilities


  • Act as the technical authority for ALPHACAM, supporting prospects, clients, and internal teams.

  • Lead technical discovery conversations to understand customer workflows, machinery, and production goals.
