Summary: Serves meals to patrons in the context of a banquet or catered event environment by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Presents menu, directs patrons to buffet, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service.
- Garnishes and decorates dishes preparatory to serving.
- Observes diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
- Ladles soup, tosses salads, portions pies and desserts, brews coffee, and performs other services as determined by establishment's size and practices.
- Clears and resets counters, buffets or tables at conclusion of each course.
- Overall set up of event as directed by Site Manager.
- Adheres to all policies and procedures designated by Mountain Dining management team.
- Maintain all health codes and sanitation requirements.
- Provide a guest experience that exceeds the guest’s expectations.
- Supports TSG Ski & Golf sustainability initiatives.
- Adheres to TSG Ski & Golf policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of and adheres to Skier Responsibility Code and Colorado Skier Safety Act

Qualifications

Education And/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 6 to 12 months related experience and/or training. Fine dining serving experience is preferred.
Language Skills
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of RTP software.
Other Qualifications
- Must be able to work effectively at elevations of 10,000 feet or higher.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.
- Must be able to function effectively in inclement weather conditions.

The pay rate for this position is $27/hr + tips. Part time position
