Job summary

Allegiance Industries in Indianapolis, IN is hiring a General Cleaner for 2nd shift (2:30pm–11:00pm) at our manufacturing facility. You will clean buildings by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors and cleaning surfaces, and you will gather and empty trash.

No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided. Applicants should have physical stamina, dexterity, ability to follow schedules, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and perform cleaning tasks.
• On-the-job training is provided.
• Ability to detect safety hazards and report them.
• Reliable transportation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean buildings by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors and cleaning surfaces.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Supply, clean and service restrooms.
• Move heavy equipment or objects as needed.
• Identify and report repairs and maintenance needs.
• Floor care such as steam cleaning carpets, applying wax, buffing, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.
