Job summary

Allegiance Industries is hiring for a 1st Shift General Cleaner at our Melrose Park, IL facility. You will keep buildings clean by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and maintaining restroom areas while following safety protocols.

Work involves moving equipment, trash removal, and basic floor maintenance. Candidates should be dependable, able to work a steady schedule, and communicate safety concerns to supervision.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, mop floors and clean surfaces.
• Gather and empty trash; clean and service restrooms.
• Move heavy equipment, objects or furniture as needed.
• Identify and report possible repairs and safety concerns.
• Perform floor work such as carpet steam cleaning, waxing or buffing as applicable.
