Job Summary

This position involves performing non-discretionary technical duties under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. The role is focused on compounding and dispensing medications as prescribed by physicians or other qualified prescribers, in accordance with state and federal laws.

Organizational Requirements

Line of Responsibility and Authority

• Reports to the Director of Pharmacy.

Education and Qualifications

• Certificate of completion from a recognized technician training program is required.

Licenses or Certifications

• California Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration is required.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally and courteously with others.
