Formación

• Certification from the Pharmacy Technician Board preferred in California and Oregon.

Responsabilidades

• Pull medications from stock and match them with corresponding labels generated by the pharmacist.
• Maintain accurate stock levels, ensuring timely restocking and removal of expired medications.
• Price and stock incoming deliveries, notifying pharmacists of out-of-stock medications.
• Restock returned medications and maintain controlled-drug medication records.
• Assist in the filling of patient prescriptions and prepare unit-dose medications.
• Support maintaining accurate patient information in the pharmacy computer database.
• Assist with billing, claims, and other related technical and clerical tasks as needed.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and dispensing of medications, inventory control, and clerical support within a pharmacy setting.

The Pharmacy Technician will prepare medications for dispensing and ensure accurate inventory management. This role will be focused on standard tasks, including maintaining records and ensuring proper inventory levels. The Pharmacy Technician will work under the supervision of a pharmacist and contribute to the overall efficiency and safety of medication management.

Job Requirements

Education and Work Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's/Technical Degree preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and related experience is preferred.

Licenses/Certifications

• State Pharmacy Technician license in California is required.
• Certification from the Pharmacy Technician Board is preferred in California and Oregon.
