Job summary

Astrya Global Medical Staffing is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week assignment in Sidney, Montana, working nights 7 on/7 off. The role involves performing respiratory treatments, testing, patient education, discharge planning, and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist license with Montana state licensure.
• Current BLS, NRP, PALS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to educate patients and families about respiratory care.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory treatments and testing across all ages.
• Assist in discharge planning and patient education.
• Operate respiratory equipment and ensure safety.
• Document in EPIC charting system accurately.
• Communicate effectively and work in a team.
• Work night shift on a 7 on/7 off schedule.

Job description

Job Title: RRT
Location: Sidney, Montana
Schedule: 7:00PM - 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $46 - $49/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a RRT for a temporary assignment in Sidney, Montana. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a RRT:

• Perform quality respiratory treatments and testing on all age groups
• Assist with education for patients and families regarding respiratory diseases and medications
• Help develop plans for successful patient discharges
• Work with and maintain knowledge of various respiratory equipment
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Work with all age groups, including newborns
• Perform various testing procedures such as EKGs and 6-Minute Walk Tests (6 MWT)
• Utilize EPIC charting system for documentation
• Maintain current BLS, NRP, PALS, and ACLS certifications
• Maintain valid State of Montana licensure as a Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist
• Work a 7 on / 7 off night schedule
