Job summary

Muskegon Area Career Tech Center seeks an Allied Health Technician to support instructors and students in the Allied Health program. This hourly, 191-day position collaborates with instructors to deliver curriculum, supervise labs, and assist with student assessment.

Qualifications include 5+ years in related work, strong communication, and ability to work with high school students. The district offers comprehensive benefits and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years (4000 hours) related work experience.
• Awareness of healthcare career pathways (Diagnostic, Therapeutic, informatics, etc).
• Ability to work with high school students in lab/classroom environments.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree or related training.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Eligible for Annual Career Authorization based on work experience.
• No physical or mental restrictions that would impede performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead instructor in daily operations of the Allied Health program.
• Set up, supervise and assist students in lab/shop environments.
• Work with instructors to deliver curriculum and monitor student progress.
• Assist in recordkeeping, lesson prep, and lab upkeep.
