Job summary

Head and Neck Surgery, Assoc., PSC in Florence, Kentucky, is seeking an Allergy Technician / Medical Assistant to support both Allergy and ENT clinics. You will conduct allergy testing, administer subcutaneous injections, educate patients, and help develop treatment plans with providers.

The role involves coordinating care across locations, performing pulmonary function tests, and using EPIC to manage appointments and records. Travel between Edgewood, Florence, Ft.

Qualifications

• Formal Medical Assistant training is required.
• Experience with subcutaneous injections is required.
• Willingness to travel between office locations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct allergy testing and administer subcutaneous allergy injections.
• Prepare customized allergy extract prescriptions based on test results.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment plans, and allergy procedures.
• Develop and communicate individualized treatment plans with providers.
• Perform pulmonary function tests.
• Use EPIC to schedule appointments and manage patient records.
• Collaborate with the Allergy Team to handle calls, messages, and work queues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.

• Completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program
• Confidence and experience in administering subcutaneous injections
• Willingness to travel between our office locations: Edgewood, Florence, Ft. Thomas (KY), and Dearborn (IN)
