Southern Indiana ENT is seeking an Allergy Tech to assist with allergy testing and injections in a fast-paced ambulatory care setting. The role requires travel between Columbus, Franklin, Greenwood, and Seymour, with a Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM schedule and reporting to the Practice Administrator.

Responsibilities include administering tests, supporting physicians and nurses, maintaining exam rooms, and educating patients on allergy management; cross-training in ENT, Sleep, CT and triage over time.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• Current CPR Certification required
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program preferred
• LPN Certification preferred
• Minimum of two years clinical experience preferred
• Ability to work in a high stress, fast paced environment

Responsabilités

• Administering allergy tests, skin tests, and pulmonary function tests.
• Assist Physicians, Mid-Level Practitioners, and Registered Nurses with evaluation, management, and treatment of patients in ambulatory care.
• Maintain patient flow, upkeep of exam and treatment rooms, and vitals and point of care testing.
• Educate patients on allergy management and prevention.
• Call and schedule patients' appointments and verify insurance.
• Cross train in ENT, Sleep, Allergy, CT, and Triage over time.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Other duties as assigned.
