Job summary

ENT Specialty Partners is seeking an Allergy Technician to support our clinic(s) with patient intake, allergy testing, vial preparation, and related administrative duties. The role emphasizes accurate data collection, safety compliance, and compassionate patient care in a fast-paced ENT setting.

Ideal candidates are certified medical assistants or equivalent, with strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; MA certification preferred.
  • Certified Medical Assistant or equivalent credentials preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and patient-focused communication.

Responsibilities

  • Set patient appointments and collect medical history and vitals.
  • Perform allergy tests and injections while ensuring safety.
  • Maintain vial preparation, labeling, and inventory control.
  • Document diligently and manage EHR data accurately.

About The Role

As an Allergy Technician for our clinic(s), you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service and medical assistance in allergy medicine.

What You’ll Do
PATIENT AND CUSTOMER FACING DUTIES
  • Setting appointments with patients
  • Taking patient medical information, history, and vital signs
  • Performing allergy tests, skin tests, allergy injections
  • Communicating effectively with patients about managing symptoms or issues
Allergy Vial Mixing
  • Follow policies and procedures required for patient vial mixing
  • Vial Preparation
  • Documentation and Labeling
  • Follow Compliance and Safety Policies
  • Inventory Control
  • EHR Management
  • Quality Assurance
Compliance Responsibilities
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with privacy and security

regulations.

  • Maintain office policies, procedures, and daily workflow.
  • Request medical records from medical offices and insurance companies.
Other Administrative Duties
  • Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and functional clinic.
  • Perform administrative functions, including data entry, filing, and record keeping.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory of medical and office supplies.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Be a certified by one or more of the four accredited institutions for medical assistance: AAMA, CMA; the American Medical Technologists Registered Medical Assistant, the National Center for Competency Testing for National Certified Medical Assistant, or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant by the National Health

Career Association.

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, required.
  • Ability to self-manage and work independently.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems independently.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a prominent level of professionalism.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
