Job summary

Boulder Medical Center is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Allergy team at the Louisville location. This full-time, benefit-eligible role requires performing comprehensive health assessments, establishing diagnoses, and managing therapeutic regimens with prescriptive authority.

Candidates should be graduates of an accredited NP or PA program with at least 1 year of APP experience in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• 1 year of APP experience in a clinic or hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs a comprehensive health assessment including health history, exams and preventive screening.
• Formulates the appropriate physical diagnosis based on clinical evaluation.
• Performs, orders and/or interprets diagnostic studies within the scope of practice.
• Performs advanced technical procedures within the clinical scope.
• Plans and implements therapeutic regimens including prescriptions with prescriptive authority.
• Establishes follow-up and revises the care plan as needed.
• Provides patient and family education to manage illness or wellness.
