Vail Health, in Avon, CO, is seeking a Medical Assistant for its Allergy clinic operating with Colorado Mountain Medical. The role involves direct patient care, allergy testing support, immunotherapy administration, and coordination within the care team.

You will help with vitals, documentation, and procedures, working under supervision and contributing to a fast-paced, patient-focused environment that emphasizes precision and compassionate care in a mountain healthcare setting.

Competenze

• At least one year of prior medical assistant experience.
• Ability to perform venipunctures and injections; IV therapy preferred.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA compliance and OSHA rules.

Mansioni

• Assist providers with patient care and maintain accurate EHR documentation.
• Field patient calls promptly and professionally.
• Support examinations, procedures, and direct patient care activities.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including venipunctures, injections, and IV therapy.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to the provider.
• Maintain documentation and communicate care plans to providers.
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and equipment is functioning.
• Administer medications only under supervision and following policy.

• Perform other duties as assigned; comply with HIPAA.
