Job summary

Aspire Allergy & Sinus is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant in Centennial, CO, to support clinical and front-office operations. You will perform vitals, injections, spirometry, and front-desk tasks while ensuring patient safety and HIPAA compliance.

The role requires strong customer service, clear communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced allergy clinic with occasional travel for coverage.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of medical terminology.
• Must possess exceptional customer service skills.
• Must be able to effectively and clearly communicate with others to exchange information effectively.
• Must be able to administer subcutaneous, intradermal and intramuscular injections.
• Must be able to manually take patient vital signs.
• Must possess the ability to maintain effective working relationship with patients, medical staff and the public.
• Must possess the ability to react calmly and effectively in a difficult or emergent situation.

Responsibilities

• Escort patient to exam room; obtain vitals, medical history, and current medications.
• Explain allergy testing and treatment protocols to patients.
• Administer injections (subcutaneous, intradermal, intramuscular).
• Conduct spirometry tests to assess lung function.
• Record patient data in the EHR accurately.
• Greet and direct patients and visitors.
• Answer calls and provide information.
• Track inventory and resupply.
• Ensure end-of-day reports are complete.
• Follow HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
• Cross-train in front-office duties (scheduling, payments, treatment coordination).
