Job summary

Grand Rapids Ear, Nose & Throat is seeking an Allergy Medical Assistant to join our team at the WYOMING, MI location. You will support patient care, document medical histories, and coordinate exams for our established practice.

You will escort patients, assist with injections and PFTs, provide basic education, and triage calls under the provider. A HS diploma is required; MA certification is a plus but not required. Weekdays only, with a strong benefits package and PTO.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to the exam room.
• Provide and coordinate efficient patient care while documenting the patient’s medical history and any other pertinent information related to their visit.
• Ensure all documentation accurately reflects the patient encounter and plan of care.
• Some areas require injections, PFTs, basic patient education, and triage calls under the provider.
• Schedule allergy testing/Immunotherapy.
• Perform allergy and penicillin testing, write recipes, administer injections.
• Sterilize, maintain and restock exam rooms and instruments.
