Job summary

AllerVie Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for its Washington, DC allergy and immunology clinic. The MA will gather medical histories, reconcile medications, and update EMRs, supporting testing and immunotherapy under supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience with collecting patient histories and vital signs.
• Familiarity with allergy/immunology practices and medications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates appropriate technique for obtaining vital signs and patient data.
• Assists with allergy testing and immunotherapy administration.
• Maintains clean and stocked exam rooms and accurate EMR documentation.
• Communicates with clinic leads and management for clinical and operational needs.
• Supports patient flow and HIPAA-compliant interactions.
