Job summary

ENT & Allergy Specialists is seeking a dedicated Allergy & Immunology Medical Assistant to support both clinical and administrative duties across clinics in Northern Kentucky and Lawrenceburg, IN.

The AI MA will obtain patient histories, take vital signs, assist physicians, perform PFTs/FeNO and injections, manage messages and referrals, and ensure accurate EMR documentation while prioritizing patient safety and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a formal Medical Assistant or Nursing program appropriate for the role.
• Current BLS and CPR certification.
• 3-5 years of physician office experience; allergy/immunology experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel between Northern Kentucky and Lawrenceburg, IN.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document patient histories for office visits.
• Room patients and record vital signs.
• Assist providers during visits and procedures.
• Administer injections and monitor patients per protocols.
• Perform diagnostic testing such as PFTs and FeNO.
• Triage symptoms and manage time-sensitive concerns.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
• Process prescription refills and manage prior authorizations.
• Respond to patient messages and coordinate appointments.
• Maintain OSHA-compliant, confidential patient environment.
