Job summary
ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant, EMT, or Nurse to join our Allergy Clinical Department in West Palm Beach. This full-time role offers a Monday-Thursday 8:00-5:00 and Friday 8:00-4:00 schedule, with travel between Wellington and Jupiter offices as needed.
You will handle patient interactions, allergy procedures, charting in EMR, injections, skin tests, and interdepartmental coordination in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years' hands-on clinical experience in a medical setting.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology and patient care processes.
- Current Medical Assistant certification or license; willing to complete internal training.
- Ability to travel between office locations; strong communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Interact with patients for 20–40 minutes following allergy protocols.
- Take patient histories, administer injections, and perform allergy skin tests.
- Prepare exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and obtain authorizations.
- Coordinate with physicians, review charts, and ensure chart accuracy.
- Support multiple sites and travel as needed between Wellington and Jupiter offices.
