Summit Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to support patient care and communication, enhancing the patient experience and satisfaction. You will welcome patients, prepare them for visits, and provide clear information about services they will receive.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required to practice
• Approximately 1 year of RN experience preferred
• Phlebotomy experience required
• Spanish speaking preferred

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and prepares patients for appointments
• Administers PO, IM, and ID medications as directed by Provider
• Performs point-of-care laboratory tests and EKGs
• Collects and documents vital signs, histories and screenings
• Provides instruction on medications and diets
• Authorizes prescription refills as directed
• Prepares patients, room, and supplies for visit or examination
• Performs phlebotomy and processes specimens
• Cleans and maintains treatment rooms and equipment
• Performs quality controls and equipment checks
