Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network seeks an Allergist to join the Upper Bucks team in Quakertown, PA. The physician will provide comprehensive medical services in both outpatient and hospital settings, including history taking, examinations, and treatment planning.

Emphasis on evidence-based care, collaboration with referring physicians, and ongoing quality initiatives. The role requires graduate medical education, residency/fellowship in allergy/immunology, and active medical licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school and completion of residency and/or fellowship in area of specialty.
• Current or recent experience in area of specialty.
• MD or DO licensed by the state licensure board.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examination of all patients seen.
• Provide cost-effective, high-quality care based on best practice evidenced based medicine.
• Adheres to standardized orders and practice guidelines approved by medical staff.
• Demonstrates competency in assessment, growth and development knowledge, and age-appropriate communication.
• Coordinates patient care and collaborates with other professionals and agencies.
