Job summary

The South Dakota Department of Health is seeking an All Women Count! Program Coordinator in the Office of Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion.

This role provides case management, coordinates cancer screening, and supports Medicaid enrollment and eligibility reviews for women diagnosed with cancer. The ideal candidate has clinical experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with healthcare providers and community partners across South

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field such as community health, public health, social work, or nursing.
• Experience with case management, patient navigation, or healthcare program coordination is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, and ability to build relationships with providers and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management and follow-up support to program participants.
• Coordinate breast and cervical cancer screening and diagnostic services.
• Assist with Medicaid enrollment and annual eligibility reviews for women diagnosed with cancer.
• Assist with billing issues and program oversight; implement federal grant work plan and budget.
• Interpret federal guidelines and develop program policies and procedures; provide technical assistance and education.
• Implement the program's portion of the federal grant work plan and budget.
