Job summary

South Dakota Department of Health is seeking an All Women Count! Program Coordinator in Pierre or Sioux Falls for full-time work. The role includes case management, coordinating cancer screening and diagnostic services, and assisting with Medicaid enrollment and grant activities. Travel may be required.

The ideal candidate has a health-related bachelor's degree, strong communication skills, and the ability to build partnerships with providers and communities across South Dakota.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field such as community health, public health, social work, or nursing.
• Experience with case management, patient navigation, or healthcare program coordination is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with ability to build relationships with healthcare providers and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management and follow-up support to program participants.
• Coordinate breast and cervical cancer screening and diagnostic services.
• Assist with Medicaid enrollment and annual eligibility reviews for women diagnosed with cancer; address billing issues.
• Support program oversight and federal grant implementation, including interpreting federal guidelines and developing procedures.
