Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret / SCI clearance is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 2 years of related experience; or an Associate’s Degree with 4 years of related experience.
  • Experience in strategic, operational, and tactical analysis from raw intelligence sources (INTs).
  • Knowledge of intelligence analysis techniques and databases/software used in the intelligence environment.
  • Excellent oral, writing, and coordination skills under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare all-source intelligence products (briefs, threat estimates, bulletins).
  • Establish and maintain criminal intelligence records and files.
  • Process incoming reports from security and law enforcement offices.
  • Assess significance and reliability of information.
  • Assist in evaluating intelligence holdings for changes in capabilities and actions.
  • Assemble and proofread intelligence reports for customer formats.
  • Store and retrieve criminal intelligence data using Government‑furnished systems.
  • Prepare criminal intelligence products and threat assessments.

In support of Inflow's contract with the Government, you will be working alongside Government civilians and other Government contractors and instructors.

What level Clearance do I need?

You must possess an active Top Secret / SCI clearance.

What will I be doing?

Using your expertise in all‑source intelligence analysis, you will be providing intelligence analysis support related to the analysis, processing, development, and distribution of strategic and criminal intelligence supporting Federal Protective Services operations. You will be:

  • Preparing all‑source intelligence products (e.g., intelligence briefs, written intelligence threat estimates, and intelligence threat bulletins)
  • Establishing and maintaining systematic, cross‑referenced criminal intelligence records and files
  • Receiving and processing incoming reports and messages from security and law enforcement offices
  • Determining the significance and reliability of incoming information
  • Assisting in the analysis and evaluation of intelligence holdings to determine changes in capabilities, vulnerabilities, and probable courses of action
  • Assembling and proofreading intelligence reports and assisting in consolidating them into customer‑required format
  • Storing and retrieving criminal intelligence data using Government‑furnished computers
  • Preparing criminal intelligence products
  • Preparing threat briefs, threat assessments and criminal intelligence analytical support
  • Maintaining awareness of emerging criminal intelligence and security threats
  • Other duties as assigned
What experience, training, and education do I need?

You must meet the minimum requirements:

  • Active Top Secret / SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in an area related to the position and at least 2 years of related experience; or Associate’s Degree and 4 years of related experience
  • Experience in strategic, operational, and tactical analysis, based on raw intelligence collected from a variety of sources, i.e. INTs
  • Ability to apply knowledge of INT‑specific analysis techniques
  • At least working knowledge of (preferably hands‑on experience with) databases and software programs used in the intelligence environment
  • Possess excellent oral, writing, and coordination skills to communicate factual information clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, often under pressure and tight deadlines that meets or exceeds established analytical standards
The following experience is preferred:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution preferred in International Studies, Intelligence, Homeland Security, Criminal Justice, or other related concentration
  • 6 years of experience working with DHS data sources
  • Experience performing Open‑Source Collection
  • Intelligence Community (IC) experience
  • DHS intelligence analysis experience
  • Experience working researching and providing evaluations for Intelligence Information Reports (IIR)
  • Criminal Intelligence analysis experience
  • Knowledge of the following:
    • DHS FPS intelligence authorities, DHS component missions, and the role of FPS in supporting the DHS Intelligence Enterprise
    • Overall FPS intelligence research, analysis, and production process
    • Title 18 authorities
    • Multiple open‑source areas including surface, deep, and dark web
    • Multiple collection techniques or approaches
    • Developing a collection plan and dissemination practices
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office suite, common Open‑Source tools, and DHS data systems
  • Experience working researching and providing evaluations for Intelligence Information Reports (IIR)
Where is the client site that I would be working for?

You will be working in Springfield, Virginia, with potential to work at different locations within the National Capital Region as assigned. Address disclosed after your clearance is verified.
