ManTech All Source Intel Analyst Job Description
ManTech seeks a motivated, career- and customer-oriented All Source Intel Analyst to join our team in Sterling, VA.
Each day, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) oversees the massive flow of people, capital, and products entering and departing the United States via air, land, sea, and cyberspace. The complexity of border crossings requires innovative solutions to promote efficient trade and travel.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing all-source intelligence analysis on homeland security topics, including border security, counterterrorism, counterintelligence, and critical infrastructure protection.
- Conducting collection research, analysis, and making recommendations regarding liaison efforts with operational and support elements, external intelligence agencies, and federal law enforcement to foster cooperation and information sharing.
- Preparing finished analytic products, assessments, briefings, and other reports on current threats and trends based on collection, research, and analytic tradecraft of classified and unclassified information.
- Identifying gaps in intelligence information and collaborating with collection managers to meet intelligence requirements through IC collection disciplines.
- Applying IC analytic standards, methodologies, and specialized expertise to assess current threats for various consumers, including senior US officials, state and local agencies, and private sector clients.
- Collaborating with analysts across the IC, law enforcement, and other agencies on products and forums.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: HS Diploma/GED with 15+ years, AS/AA with 13+ years, BS/BA with 7+ years, MS/MA/MBA with 5+ years, PhD with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
- Experience establishing relationships with law enforcement and IC partners.
- Proven experience as an all-source analyst producing finished intelligence products per IC standards.
- Experience preparing national intelligence briefings and coordinating with government and industry personnel.
- Proficiency with IC analytic tools such as Analyst Notebook/i2, WISE, Palantir, etc.
- Skills in Business Intelligence, Process Improvement, Collection Management, and Intel Planning.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least six years of national-level all-source intelligence analysis experience.
- Prior CBP National Targeting Center experience, especially with operational data analysis.
- Experience in counterterrorism, counter-narcotics, counterintelligence, illicit trade, or alien smuggling.
- Experience in liaison roles within CBP or other agencies, advising on intelligence programs and policies.
- Background in project/program management, including legislative and policy review.
- Experience developing intelligence alerts, reports, or threat bulletins for CBP operations.
- Familiarity with research and reporting systems like UPAX, IRS-NG, AFI, USEC.
Clearance and Physical Requirements
- Must have a current Top Secret clearance and be able to obtain and maintain DHS CBP Suitability.
- Occasional movement within the office to access files, operate machinery, or deliver presentations.
