Job summary

Modivcare is seeking a Spanish-speaking caregiver (HHA or PCA) in New York. Earn $19.86/hr plus extra money through our rewards program.

Provide meaningful, one-on-one care to clients in their homes and be valued as part of a supportive team. Requirements include NYS PCA or HHA certification, willingness to work in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens or Bronx, NY, 12-hour shifts (8am-8pm or 8pm-8am), weekdays and/or weekends, and fluency in Spanish.

Qualifications

• NYS Personal Care Aide (PCA) or NYS Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification required.
• Fluent in Spanish; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care in clients' homes.
• Assist with daily activities including dressing, bathing, and meals.
• Assist with mobility and transfers as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming living space.

Job Responsibilities:

• Bring comfort and companionship to clients in their homes
• Frequent standing and walking; assisting members with daily activities (dressing, bathing, and meals); bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines
