ModivCare in Nassau County is seeking a Certified Caregiver (PCA or HHA) to provide one-on-one home care. Earn $19.86/hr with benefits and flexible schedules.

You will bring comfort and companionship to clients at their homes, assist with daily activities, and support safe routines while complying with NYS PCA/HHA standards.

Qualifikationen

• Active NYS PCA or HHA certification required.
• Willing to work in Nassau County (Westbury, Hicksville, Hempstead and surrounding areas).
• English proficiency; bilingual preferred.
• Reliable transportation.

Aufgaben

• Provide comfort and companionship to clients in their homes.
• Assist with daily activities (dressing, bathing, meals); assist with standing, walking, lifting as needed.
• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming.
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines.
• Communicate concerns and elevate safety issues as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Active NYS Personal Care Aide (PCA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification REQUIRED
• Must be willing to work in Westbury, HIcksville, Hempstead and other areas within Nassau County
• Proficient in English, Bilingual preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Have compassion, reliability, trustworthiness, and honesty

• Frequent standing and walking; assisting members with daily activities (dressing, bathing, and meals); bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines
• Communicate concerns and elevate safety issues as needed
