Job summary

American Electric Power seeks an All Hazard Intel Analyst Senior to support emergency management operations, leading ECC watch desk activities, threat intelligence ingests, and coordination with internal and external partners. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field or certifications/experience
• 4-6+ years of relevant experience in threat intelligence, emergency management, or security operations
• Certifications such as AEM, CEM, ABCP, CBCP, CPP, PSP, ITIL, PMP, or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Leads ECC Watch Desk activities and monitoring tasks.
• Gathers, validates, and synthesizes threat information affecting enterprise operations.
• Develops threat assessments, intelligence briefings, and leadership reporting inputs.
• Executes coordination activities during incidents, activations, exercises, and real-world events.
• Applies ECC playbooks independently and updates content to close gaps.
• Monitors open-source intel and partner reporting for emerging threats.
• Maintains documentation, notification records, and after-action materials.
• Supports assessment of mass notification and ECC coordination processes.
• Contributes to training curriculum and readiness materials.
• Reviews reliability and relevance of information to improve reporting quality.
