Job summary

JCMLiving is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a permanent, full-time union position to keep our apartment community functioning and looking great. The ideal candidate will possess working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drywall, flooring, appliances, windows and locks, and be able to perform a wide range of maintenance tasks with safety in mind.

Responsibilities include completing maintenance requests, coordinating with contractors, snow removal, and participation in preventative

Qualifications

• Experience working with electrical, plumbing, drywall, flooring and appliance systems.
• Ability to perform carpentry, basic masonry and painting.
• Comfort with using common maintenance tools and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Address maintenance requests within the apartment community.
• Assist contractors and staff; perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting and cleaning tasks.
• Manage snow removal and general grounds upkeep as needed.
• Support preventative maintenance programs under supervision.
• Be available for after-hours on-call repairs and emergency maintenance.
