Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a Physical Therapist to plan and implement therapy programs across neonatal to geriatric populations in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include supervising PTAs and students, assessing patients, and developing individualized plans, while ensuring safe procedures and adherence to clinical standards to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must have strength, mobility, and stamina for physical tasks up to 50 pounds.
• Good vision and hearing with assistance if needed.
• Ability to handle infectious diseases and occupational hazards.
• Capability for varied movements including sitting, standing, bending, squatting and twisting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, aides, and students/observers.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Perform activities such as lifting, assisting with patient care, and frequent position changes.
• Handle emergency situations, wear protective equipment, and follow safety protocols.
• Contribute to team efforts to improve patient outcomes and uphold clinical standards.
