Overview
A Big O Alignment Technician performs the required mechanical duties in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with all company programs, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities
- Perform brake, front end, and alignment maintenance as well as mechanical work in accordance with all company programs, policies, and procedures
- Maintain the orderly flow of customer service assignment to ensure productivity
- Ensure that Big O's Extra Care Services are extended to all customers
- Properly diagnose and repair customers' vehicles, performing quality control of all shop functions
- Safely operate customer vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions, moving vehicles as needed to, and away from, service areas
- Attend weekly store meetings to review safety issues, store policies, procedures, and product information changes as required
- Assist in organizing, documenting, and processing adjustments and core credits
- Work with store management to ensure the successful accomplishment of budgeted service-related quotas
- Ensure that all appropriate information for completed work is given to the counter personnel for inclusion in final invoicing
- Utilize the company outside purchase program to ensure maximum profitability
- Ensure the consistent execution of the vehicle inspection program
- Promptly and efficiently perform alignments, inspections, and other duties to support store achievement of established service, sales, and productivity goals
- Assist management in the orientation, training, and coaching of new personnel

Job Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Minimum of one year of experience as a lube/tire/service technician
- Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials
- Ability to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery
- Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Ability to exchange accurate information with customers
- Ability and willingness to work with hazardous materials
- Ability to consistently work in outdoor weather conditions
- Ability and willingness to comply with Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) regulations
