Job summary

The Taylor Group Inc in Louisville, MS is seeking a tire technician to securely assemble, align, and service vehicles. You will dismount and remount tires, operate shop equipment, and assist customers with service needs. A valid driver’s license and physical ability to lift 45 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with tire equipment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Secure vehicle to lift/alignment equipment for safe operation.
• Align vehicle per specifications.
• Dismount/remount tires and wheels securely.
• Operate related equipment and tools as trained.
• Provide customer service and work well in a team.
• Maintain inventory accuracy.
• Complete paperwork and keep area clean.

Principal Accountabilities

• Properly secure vehicle to lift/alignment machine to ensure safe operation.
• Properly align vehicle as per company specifications
• Properly dismount and remount tires and wheels securely on vehicle
• Properly dismount and remount tires onto wheels without damaging either
• Operate all related equipment and tools as trained.
• Operate Independently and as a team member.
• Perform and demonstrate Customer Service Satisfaction
• Inspect and replace steering components, shock absorbers, tie rods, and ball joints.
• Assist in performing Inventory Control Accurately
• Paperwork - any and all related requirements
• Housekeeping is maintained daily.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications: Job Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• ASE are a plus.
• Prior knowledge of tire related equipment and tools a plus
• Valid Driver’s License
• Lift a minimum of 45 pounds.
