Job summary

BWI GROUP is seeking an Algorithm Engineer in the United States to create and improve algorithms for detection, prediction, and automated decisions in software and AI systems. You will bridge theory with practical code to ensure accurate and efficient performance.

Responsibilities include designing pattern recognition and optimization algorithms, coding in Python/C++/MATLAB, testing with real data, and collaborating with software engineers, data scientists, and product teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering, statistics, physics or related field.
• Strong foundations in algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis.
• Proficiency in Python and C++, plus MATLAB/SQL as needed.
• Knowledge of machine learning, statistics, or signal processing for AI/DSP roles.
• Analytical thinking, problem solving, and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement algorithms for tasks like pattern recognition, optimization, or signal processing.
• Code algorithms in Python, C++, Java, or MATLAB and integrate into software systems.
• Test and validate algorithms against real-world data for accuracy, robustness, and performance.
• Analyze results, generate reports, and communicate findings and tradeoffs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into algorithmic solutions.
