Job summary

Bitlogix is seeking an analytics-focused software engineer to design and develop optimization, simulation, forecasting, and planning components. You will translate operational goals into robust models, validate them with real data, and integrate engines into AI or digital twin platforms.

You will work with time series, sensor, and enterprise data, balancing accuracy with performance while collaborating with engineers, domain experts, and architects to deliver end-to-end decision support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in CS, applied math, industrial eng, OR, or equivalent experience.
• Strong Python development with Pandas, NumPy, SciPy.
• Solid OR/math/stats foundation.
• Experience building optimization, simulation, forecasting, or planning models.
• Familiarity with Gurobi, Pyomo, OR Tools or SimPy-like tools.
• Ability to translate requirements into working models.
• Understanding of data structures, architecture, validation, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software components for optimization, simulation, forecasting, and planning.
• Translate objectives and constraints into mathematical models and dependable software.
• Develop, test, and validate models with real data and conditions.
• Integrate analytics engines into AI, digital twins, and enterprise platforms.
• Work with diverse data from operational environments and time series data.
• Evaluate modeling approaches balancing accuracy, performance, scalability, usability.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, analytics experts, and domain specialists.
• Improve performance, testability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, testing, and documentation.
