Job summary

The Princeton Review is seeking High Dosage Tutors to deliver in-person, small-group tutoring to K12 students in U.S. schools.

This daytime, scheduled-hours role is ideal for retired or former teachers or subject-matter experts in mathematics. You will tutor groups during the school day, meet regularly with the same students, use manipulatives and a digital whiteboard, analyze assessment data, and report progress to teachers and administrators while collaborating with Instructional Specialists

Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and reside there.
  • Available to tutor up to 10 hours per week during the school day.
  • Able to teach Algebra and Mathematics.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university.

Responsibilities

  • Tutor small groups of students in a school setting.
  • Meet with the same group of students multiple times a week.
  • Engage students using manipulatives and online tools such as an interactive whiteboard.
  • Utilize student assessment data to determine gaps in knowledge.
  • Deliver provided standards-aligned digital curriculum.
  • Provide quality reports to Tutor.com staff, teachers, and school administrators on student achievement.
  • Collaborate with Instructional Specialists to advance instructional practices and deliver high quality tutoring.
