Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in subject matter or 24+ credit hours in applicable subject matter.
• Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Master’s degree in subject matter or education preferred.
• 2+ years teaching/education experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and facilitate subject and grade specific lesson plans.
• Provide subject instruction at a higher level than grade-standard in an interactive environment.
• Implement the BASIS Curriculum and design effective and creative lessons.
• Collaborate to further develop curriculum and build a supportive professional community.
• Tutor students in content-specific knowledge and skills.
• Manage student behavior to foster academic achievement and respect.
