Qualifications

• Missouri teaching certification required.
• Minimum of five years of teaching experience.
• Knowledge of the Missouri Learning Standards.
• Background experience and knowledge in elementary instruction.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct instruction to intervention-eligible students in small groups or individually.
• Assists in scheduling intervention time and resources for students.
• Sets clear objectives and documents preparation for intervention.
• Regularly assesses student progress and reports data to staff.
• Plans differentiated instruction and sequences learning experiences.
• Collaborates with teachers to implement a research-based intervention program.
• Engages families and staff to promote student growth and development.
• Participates in staff development related to instruction, intervention, and assessment.

Education

Missouri teaching certification
