Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university recognized by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB)
• Texas Educator Certification, or willing to join ACP to get certified
• Strong ability to navigate web-related applications and technology
• Ability to instruct students using a variety of technology applications and platforms

Aufgaben

• Developing rigorous lessons in your specific content area, in 1:1 blended learning environments, to reignite students for college and beyond
• Setting ambitious goals with students and monitoring progress with frequent feedback
• Tracking student growth and using data to create growth plans when needed for student achievement concerns
• Building transformable relationships with students and families through regular communication
• Creating a classroom environment conducive to learning and development
• Collaborating with co-planner to align daily lesson plans and resources
• Meeting deadlines for daily lesson plans, grades, and work samples
• Working with a team of teachers and leaders to ensure consistency and accountability
• Participating in Professional Development to norm on and improve student learning
• Conducting weekly tutorials outside regular class to provide additional instruction
• Completing supervision duties on campus for student safety
• Growing professionally through feedback from DOI and School Leaders
• Staying resilient and modeling strong character
• Being available by phone, email, or video conference to confer with campus leaders, collaborators, students, and parents
• Providing personal care services as needed
• Additional duties as assigned
