Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is mandatory; applications with anticipated graduation dates will not be considered.
• At least 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience in school or educational settings.
• Mastery of high school Algebra concepts and skills.
• Understanding of challenges faced by urban students, schools, and communities, including disparities.
• Exemplary punctuality and adherence to schedules.
• Strong communication skills with students, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Ability to commute to Beltsville, MD and navigate a school environment.

Responsibilities

• Take daily attendance for each group and monitor student progress.
• Work with small groups (1–4 students) in push‑in or pull‑out settings.
• Attend sessions Montays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 7:30 am–2:15 pm schedule.
• Use a personal device to track progress and stay in touch with teachers and families.
