Qualifications

• CORE Certified ALF Administrator (Florida or applicable state)
• Active RN or LPN license in good standing
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in assisted living or related healthcare setting
• Knowledge of state regulations governing assisted living facilities
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the ALF, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Maintain licensure and AHCA compliance.
• Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures.
• Manage budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Ensure safe, clean environment for residents and staff.
• Supervise and coordinate resident care services.
• Conduct health assessments and develop individualized service plans.
• Monitor residents' health and coordinate with physicians and providers.
• Oversee medication management and proper administration.
• Ensure proper documentation and clinical standards.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff.
• Provide ongoing education and evaluations.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Ensure staff certifications and training.
• Promote resident-centered care and family relations.
• Address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally.
• Conduct family meetings and maintain open communication.
• Prepare for state inspections and audits.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting systems.
