Job Description

We are hiring full-time Food Service Supervisors to join our passionate Food Services Team. Under the guidance of a manager, you will oversee staff, collaborate with teammates, and support daily operations. This role offers growth opportunities and a chance to pursue your passions.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Produce and maintain work schedules; prepare production sheets and recipes.
  2. Direct daily activities of the food service team.
  3. Ensure food safety and quality according to policies and procedures.
  4. Store food items safely and organize storage areas.
  5. Maintain serving schedules and ensure menu specifications are met safely and appropriately.
  6. Uphold sanitation standards in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  7. Maintain accurate weekly inventory records.
  8. Prepare orders as needed for production accuracy.
  9. Supervise, evaluate, and counsel employees; promote growth, efficiency, and teamwork.
  10. Ensure a safe working environment free of hazards.
  11. Train and mentor food service staff.
  12. Keep logs of equipment maintenance and safety/temperature checks, taking corrective actions as necessary.
  13. Perform preventative maintenance and recommend equipment replacements.
  14. Handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  15. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Food Service Director or Manager.
  16. Fill in for absent employees when necessary.
  17. Coordinate with catering events to ensure timely preparation and delivery.
  18. Occasionally work night and weekend catering events.
  19. Attend staff meetings and communicate effectively with team members.
  20. Perform cashier duties if needed.
  21. Promote positive public relations.
  22. Qualifications

  • Ability to read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
  • Completion of a sanitation course before or during the first year.
  • Knowledge of cost-effective food service operations.
  • Basic arithmetic skills.
  • Maintain emotional control under stress.
  • Resolve interpersonal issues effectively.
