Job Description

We are hiring full-time Food Service Supervisors to join our passionate Food Services Team at House of Blues, Boston. Under the guidance of a manager, you will oversee staff, coordinate operations, and ensure high-quality service. This role offers opportunities for growth and development in a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Produce and maintain work schedules, including preparation of production sheets and recipes.
  2. Supervise daily activities and ensure food safety and quality according to policies and procedures.
  3. Ensure proper storage of food items in a safe, organized, hazard-free environment.
  4. Maintain serving schedules and ensure food is served per menu specifications following Aramark policies.
  5. Uphold health and safety codes, maintain sanitary standards, and ensure accurate inventory management.
  6. Prepare orders as needed to meet operational demands.
  7. Supervise, evaluate, and mentor employees, promoting teamwork and morale.
  8. Maintain a safe working environment and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
  9. Complete all required food safety and temperature logs with appropriate corrective actions.
  10. Assist with catering events, including occasional night and weekend work.
  11. Participate in staff meetings, communicate effectively with team members, and perform cashier duties if necessary.
  12. Promote positive public relations and represent the company professionally.

Note: Job duties may evolve, and employees may be asked to perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications
  • Ability to read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
  • Completion of a sanitation course within the first year.
  • Knowledge of efficient, cost-effective program operation.
  • Basic arithmetic skills.
  • Ability to maintain emotional control under stress and resolve interpersonal issues.
  • Strong organizational skills.
