Job summary

LatentBridge is seeking a Data Governance / Alation Analyst to implement and manage enterprise data governance and catalog capabilities. You will specialize in Alation, metadata management, data lineage, and glossary creation while coordinating with business and technical teams to ensure data is well documented and traceable across the organization.

The role requires hands-on Alation experience and collaboration with stakeholders to drive governance programs, data quality, and regulatory

Qualifications

• Hands-on in Data Governance, Data Management, Metadata Management, or Data Catalog functions.
• Hands-on experience with Alation is mandatory.
• Experience with Collibra or other enterprise data catalog/governance platforms will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and administer the Alation Data Catalog and governance capabilities.
• Create or maintain metadata, glossary terms, data definitions, and data domains.
• Document data lineage across reports, data sources, processes, and business functions.
• Maintain datastewardship workflows: ownership, approvals, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to document and validate critical data assets and definitions.
• Map reports to data sources and business processes to improve traceability.
• Maintain governance documentation, standards, and operating models.
