Job summary

Bering Air is seeking experienced Captains to operate the Cessna 408 SkyCourier on scheduled routes serving western Alaska’s remote, roadless communities. You will conduct thorough pre-flight planning, inspections, and safety checks while ensuring safe operations in austere environments.

You will collaborate with dispatch, maintenance, and station teams to keep missions on-time and customer-focused, making weather and terrain decisions as needed.

Qualifications

• 2000+ total flight hours required.
• CPL or ATP license is mandatory.
• Valid medical certificate required.
• 500 hours Alaska flying experience preferred.
• Experience on C208, C212, C408, B190 or BE20 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Captain the Cessna 408 SkyCourier on scheduled passenger, mail, and freight flights.
• Maintain safe operations in remote and austere environments per standards.
• Perform thorough pre-flight planning, inspections, and safety checks.
• Make weather/terrain decisions with good judgment across roadless regions.
• Collaborate with dispatch, maintenance, and station teams to stay on-time.
