Job summary

Federal Aviation Administration in Anchorage, AK seeks a regional administrator to lead a multi‑state region with cross‑functional oversight of programs including environmental issues, airports development, and airspace modernization. You will coordinate senior FAA staff and external stakeholders to deliver strategic aviation initiatives and complex operations.

Executive leadership with a strong track record in efficiency, legal framework, and risk management is required.

Qualifications

• ELDs demonstrating leadership competencies across law, driving efficiency, merit and competence, leading people, and achieving results.
• TR 1 demonstrates ability to develop and deliver communications on aviation topics to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Represent the agency regionally with officials and stakeholders; coordinate FAA programs and initiatives.
• Deliver FAA messaging on regional issues and funding/policy impacts.
• Build relationships to support FAA modernization and engagement.
• Lead cross‑agency collaboration with DOT modes during interdepartmental planning.
• Act as regional commander during crises or emergencies.
