STG Inc in Anchorage, Alaska is seeking a detailed Procurement Specialist to manage requisitions, purchase orders, vendor quotes, and on-time deliveries for remote construction projects. You will collaborate with foremen, project managers, and the accounting team to ensure accurate pricing, documentation, and compliant purchasing processes.

This office-based role may require occasional fieldwork and driving company vehicles; strong knowledge of procurement practices, MS Office, and supplier

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of procurement/purchasing experience preferred.
• Experience in Alaska's construction industry is a plus.
• Hazmat Transportation certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process order requisitions for operations and construction projects.
• Issue purchase orders and confirm pricing and lead times.
• Coordinate with foremen, project managers, and vendors.
• Research parts and suppliers to identify cost-effective procurement.
• Drive company vehicle to pick up and deliver materials where required.
• Maintain vendor relationships and provide procurement support to accounting.
