Job summary

Environmental Compliance Consultants, Inc. (ECC) seeks an experienced hands-on RCRA Hazardous Waste Facility Manager to lead daily operations of the hazardous waste management facility at Eielson AFB, Alaska who takes ownership of facility performance, leads by example, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and work alongside their team.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of hazardous waste management experience with supervisory exposure.
• Strong knowledge of RCRA regulations, waste characterization, and disposal requirements.
• Experience with regulatory documentation and electronic data management.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of the hazardous waste facility and ensure safe handling.
• Lead and develop a five-person on-site team, maintaining accountability and performance.
• Ensure compliance with RCRA, EPA, OSHA, and Alaska regulations; conduct inspections.
• Oversee waste profiling, manifesting, and regulatory reporting.
• Maintain positive client and contractor relationships and fulfill contract requirements.
• Provide training on hazardous waste accumulation and regulatory compliance.
