Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Must be computer literate to perform required job functions.
• Must be a team player and able to get along with others.
• Must be capable of entering/exiting cabs of tractors multiple times per hour.
• Must operate all equipment including forklifts and other power equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect powered/non-powered shop equipment for safe operation before use or after repairs.
• Perform maintenance on trailers, tractors, forklifts, and related equipment.
• Attend training for OSHA, company, and job-specific requirements.
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs as needed.
• Prepare maintenance work orders and record parts used.
• Perform basic body/fender repairs on vehicles and containers.
• Safely transport equipment into/out of restricted spaces and keep yards clean.
